Over to Jay to describe the rescue in his own unqiue style.
"us minster sup dudes..( stuey, kenny, myself ) were on paddle cruze from
minster to isle of grain...calm day, when suddlely just as we were
returning a storm brewed up...wind went from 5mph to 35-40 mph.
sheeerness sailing club had a dozen off dinghys out, 3 off them had
overturned in the mad storm which lasted 15 minutes..then went calm.
anyway we paddle to one dingy - his mast had snaped, so we used our
leashes ,strapped them to boat and sups and paddled the strickened boat to
shore - we were half a mile out...it worked the guy was pleased and a
strange look on his face too - he couldn't woek out wot we was using..lol...only got one
pic though...the RNLI turned up and amazed wot we were paddling on, said we
look like 3 gods walking on water towing a boat..lol..it was a great
session though.. hope you can put this on the
main page...and lets every one know that a leesh can come handy for
other things.....
